After the three generations technological innovation, comparing the first and second generation industrial fans, BIDA direct driver Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) with internal rotor design has the following advantages:
1. More safety: Comparing the first-generation gearless motor and the second-generation permanent magnet brushless direct driver external rotor, our company has surmounted the industry’s technical bottleneck regarding the inner rotor in 2015. When the motor is lighter, the fan blade adopts an in-line design, and the 4 steel wire ropes pull the motor safer (the 1st and 2nd generation HVLS ceiling fans are both with motor under the wire rope and are heavier).
2. More energy-saving: BIDA big HVLS ceiling fans with PMSSM internal rotor motor is very energy saving, power consumption is less than 1 kw.h. per fan.
3. Longer service life: Compared with other industrial fans, the permanent magnet inner rotor motor has coils outside and stator inside. The coils outside has good heat dissipation and will not demagnetize, while the external rotor is easy to burnt because of poor heat dissipation. The service life of out rotor motor is 10-15 years; while the service life of gearbox motor is only 5-8 years, it is easy to leak oil and burn the motor compared with PMSSM motor.
But the service life of our PMSM motor with inner rotor motor is 15-20 years as normal.
In addition, the protection level of our permanent magnet inner rotor motor is IP64, dustproof and waterproof, and better protects the motor. The outer rotor motor and gearbox motor type protection level is IP49 only.
